About the Show

A Father-Daughter Project:

In this podcast we’ll be taking a journey together to unravel the rich traditions, flavors, and stories that make up the Filipino experience. Our podcast is called “Biyahe Bisaya” because our story starts in the Visayas, the heart of our roots. This is also an attempt for me (Danielle) to brush up on my very rusty Bisaya!

So as a proud Boholanons we’ll be starting from there and speaking a lot of Visaya, but we will also dive into the incredible diversity of the Philippines – exploring different traditions, languages, and cultures from Luzon to Mindanao!
